Eriko Tsuji
Violinist, educator
Eriko Tsuji, born in Kyoto, Japan, is an award-winning violinist and an exceptional teacher. She is
the Director of the Community Youth Orchestra of Southern California (CYOSC), where she
dedicates herself to nurturing young musical talents.
Eriko received her Master's Degree from UCLA in 2012, studying under renowned violinists
Guillaume Sutre and Yuki Yamamoto. She has performed in the Las Vegas Philharmonic and
Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra.
Her commitment to music education is evident through her roles as a substitute orchestra
teacher at St. Margaret Episcopal from 2021 to 2022 and as a private violin instructor there
from 2022 to 2023. In 2024, she served as a faculty member at the Irvine Music Festival, further
contributing to the development of young musicians.
As the Director of CYOSC, Eriko emphasizes both technical proficiency and a deep appreciation
for the art of performance. Her leadership and dedication continue to inspire and impact the
Southern California music community.
